IF …

Jesus our Shepherd and Savior
Jesus our Shepherd and Savior

If Satan had not desired to be on equal status and wanted to be God; Jesus would not have to be the atonement for mankind’s sin.

If Eve had not been tempted and Adam being influenced; mankind would not have to toil and toil and spin and spin.

If one third of the angels have not followed the Devil and mated with humans; magic and sorcery would not have emerged.

If humans have listened to the words of God; He would not have wanted humans purged.

If God wasn’t a merciful and full of loving-kindness God; He would not have kept Noah and his family safe from the Big Flood.

If the scribes and Pharisees weren’t eager for man’s glory and Judas’s blatant greed, Jesus our Lord would not have to spill His precious blood.

If not for the power and miracle work of God; Israel would not have birthed in 1948, as prophesied, as a nation again.

If time of the end is upon us soon and humans do not feel the need to repent of their sins, Jesus’ sacrifice in death would have been pointless and in vain.

If God and Jesus have not fought and battled hard with the Devil for our souls, we humans would have ceased in our own raging wars and sins.

If this present wicked violent world ends, it would be Jesus and His armies from the heavens having conquered the Devil and on that note, God wins.

Scars and Stars

fire-starter.jpg

There may be scars

But hope still for stars

For stars shineth on and on

So, you gotta keep on keeping on

No matter how life’s curve balls hits

Have faith in God and hope still sits

Hard times, troubled times, saddens the soul

Time is timeless, move forward, purge the old

Every cycle of life has a beginning and an end

Look for rainbows after a storm for its God-send

Walk through life at your own even pace

Adopt positive attitude, keep a smiling face

Signs are posted at every junction and all crossroads

Be alert, be aware and take heed the wisdom it unloads

At every juncture and every fork pray for discretion

To a God who giveth sagaciousness on every question

In all lives a little rain must fall before the sun shines

Defines character, perspectives change, horizon realigns

Accept challenges, overcome obstacles, create some goals

With much effort and tenacity, attainment fulfills our souls

Aboard the ship of life fear not of adverse stormy waves

Persevere and endure on for whom God loves God saves

Every star though minute from gaze could be a raging sun

Immerse clarity in your mind, blast on, life’s an awesome run

GOLD DUST OF TIME

Time … past and still ticking … I’ve yet to find
achievement acted upon desires of my own design
Golden time .. seconds minutes hours of everyday
fly by like gold dust scattered down silent highway
Yet still … I spin and spin on the wheel of life
soldier on would I … no matter what kind of strife

If my wishes for a little fortune magically appear
like stars in the night … spirit would sparkle happier
It’s only material wishes that would unburden my soul
no such wish for riches but to repay a debt of long ago
All of my life … I’ve walk the path of good intentions
sad to say … oft times it’s met with accusing questions

And that’s what hurts, deep deep down inside my heart
emptiness felt, woefulness of red arteries flow like art
Even though winds of change veered another course
I’m left beleaguered like a forlorn rider with no horse
Right directions decided but wrong timing to pursue
chains of duties and commitments kept me subdue

Dreams … I have like sand on the shores
dedicated perseverance … success blend for encores
Loves … one true love and a forbidden soul mate
torn between two … flummoxed … leaving it to fate
My life’s pathetic repertoire of challenging cycles and phases
fade dark days for hope and faith soars me to higher places
