On life’s journey Faith is Nourishment, Virtuous Deeds are a Shelter, Wisdom is the Light by Day.

We make a Living by what we get; We make a Life by what we give.

Patience with self is Hope. Patience with God is Faith. Patience with others is Love.

He who controls others may be powerful but he who has mastered himself is mightier still.

Clear conscience never fears midnight knocking.

If you are patient in a moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.

If you always tell the truth, you never have to remember anything.

Personality can open doors, but only character can keep them open.

Put more trust in nobility of character than in an oath.

Truth is the daughter of TIME.

Talent is God-given .. BE HUMBLE, Fame is man-given .. BE GRATEFUL, Conceit is self-given .. BE CAREFUL

Pray about everything; Worry about Nothing.

Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need.

Anger makes you smaller, while forgiveness forces you to grow beyond what you were.

Be civil to all; sociable to many; familiar with few; friend to one; enemy to none.

When our wealth is lost, nothing is lost; When our health is lost, something is lost; When our character is lost, everything is lost.

“Those who live in the sunshine may have faith, but those of us who walk in the shadows must have faith.”

Bliss cannot happen without having any experience of pain with it.

Words should be weighed, not counted.

Words have no wings but they can fly a thousand miles.

Patience brings roses.

Repetition is the mother of wisdom.

Don’t find fault with what you don’t understand.

A friend’s frown is better than a fool’s smile.

Act honestly, and answer boldly.

Let Deeds match Words.

One does not wash one’s dirty linen in public.

Confessed faults are half mended.

Common sense in uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.

Before someone’s tomorrow has been taken away, Cherish those you love, Appreciate them today.

Weakness of Attitude becomes Weakness in Character.

Beware of an idiot, who is like an old dress; Every time you patch it, the wind tears it back again.

If you’re willing to admit faults, you have one less fault to admit.

Build a man a fire, he’ll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, he’s warm for the rest of his life.

Have a heart that never hardens, a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.

Better to write for yourself and have no public than to write for the public and have no self.

We swallow greedily any lie that flatters us, but we sip only little by little at a truth we find bitter.

Don’t look where you fall, but where you slipped.

When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.

To know the road ahead, ask those coming back.

If you must reread old love letters, better pick a room without mirrors.

Pain makes man think. Thought makes man wise. Wisdom makes man’s life endurable.

Truth fears no trial.

It isn’t the mountains ahead that wear you out, it’s the grain of sand in your shoe.

The bend in the road is not the end of the road unless you refuse to take the turn.

To see what is right and not to do it, is want of courage.

The soul would have no rainbows if the eyes have no tears.

What the caterpillar calls the end, the rest of the world calls a butterfly.

If you refuse to make straight when you are green, you will not be made straight when you are dry.

Don’t make use of another’s mouth unless it has been lent to you.

He who will not economize will have to agonize.

There is no witness so dreadful, no accuser so terrible as the conscience that dwells in the heart of every man.

Have patience awhile; slanders are not long-lived. Truth is the child of time, before long she shall appear to vindicate thee.

Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth, but by washing away from it all that is not gold.

Hypocrisy in anything whatever may deceive the cleverest and most penetrating man, but the least wide-awake of children recognizes it, and is revolted by it, however ingeniously it may be disguised.

The two most powerful warriors are Patience and Time.

He who knows does not speak; He who speaks does not know.

The superior man is modest in his speech, but exceeds in his actions.

There are only two ways of spreading light – to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.

Let us serve the world soulfully. The pay we will receive will be in the currency of gratitude. God’s gratitude.

our own life for the survival of a family member, yet we lead our daily life too
often as if we take our family for granted.

Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final
forming of a person’s character lies in their own hands.

We never know the love of our parents for us till we have become parents.

Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences
are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are

It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order and confusion to clarity. It can turn
a meal into a feast, a house into a home and a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes
sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

If you’re prosperous in soul, you’ll be prosperous in whole.

Don’t mind criticism. If it is untrue, disregard it. If it is unfair, keep from irritation.
If it is ignorant, smile. If it is justified, learn from it.

Very few of us know how much we can put into life if we use it
properly, wisely, and economically. Let us economize our time —
lifetimes ebb away before we wake up, and that is why we do not
realize the value of the immortal time God has given us.
