Machinations of the “Devil”

2 Timothy 3:1-5

1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.

2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty,

blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal,

3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without

self-control, fierce, without love of goodness,

4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God,

5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away!

(Hatred, wars, rape, incest, violence, greed, love of money,
foul language, selfishness, divorce, homosexuality,
group sex, wife swapping, swinging, orgies, incest,
fornication, adultery, stealing, murder, lying,
mugging, kidnapping, prostitution, trafficking in
child slavery, worshipping “the son” only
instead of “the Father”, Christians celebrating pagan
holidays, Christians wearing pagan idols,
child abuse, parent abuse, grand-parent abuse,
spiritism, astrology, witchcraft, drug-abuse,
drunkeness, slander, haughtiness, arrogance,
lovers of pleasure, disobedient to parents,
disobedient to authority, ungrateful, unthankful,
not open to any agreement, puffed up with pride,
false witnesses, no self-control, fierce, headstrong,
and just plain mean.)

All the ABOVE brings people down and it starts with what’s in their minds,

it takes roots and it festers and soon the mind becomes a battlefield and leads

to internal spiritual warfare, the wrestle between doing good and bad,

these are the schemes and machinations of the Devil aka Satan aka Lucifer,

the fallen angel!

Time is short and running out for him, so he and his minions manipulates and

deceives mankind in every which way to deter them from worshipping

YAHWEH our God and YESHUA, our Messiah

the whole world beguiled into Satan's hands

14 But if YOU have bitter jealousy and contentiousness in YOUR hearts, do not be bragging and lying against the truth.

15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is [the] earthly, animal, demonic.

16 For where jealousy and contentiousness are, there disorder and every vile thing are.

James 3:14-16

“Do not boast, lie or murmur sweet words to cover up the ugly truth in thine hearts

of arrogance, selfishness and bitter jealousy which is venom to thy souls”

It’s earthly and it’s the attitude of Satan, the father of all lies and deceit;

so purify yourselves with the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God Yahweh

so that you may stand blameless when our Messiah Yeshua comes back to reclaim

his rightful throne to rule.

Words for the Young – Words that “Need” Global Circulation

Ω ♣ ♣ ♣ Ω       Ω ♣ ♣ ♣ Ω

“Children, obey your parents in the Master: for this is right. Honor thy father and thy mother; which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the [new] earth.” (Ephesians 6:1). Children who dishonor their parents, and disobey them, and disregard their advice and instructions, can have no part in the earth made new. The purified new earth will be no place for the rebellious, the disobedient, the unthankful, ungrateful son or daughter. Unless such learn obedience and submission here, they will never learn the lesson hereafter; and the peace of the ransomed will never be marred by the disobedient, unruly, unsubmissive children. No commandment-breaker can inherit the kingdom of heaven. Will all the youth please read the fifth commandment spoken by Jehovah from Sinai, and engraven with his own finger upon tables of stone. “Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the Master thy Yahuwah giveth thee.” (Exodus 20:12). “Children, obey your parents in all things; for this is well-pleasing unto the Master.”

There are many passages of Scripture that are plain, instructing the young, showing them clearly the will of Yahuwah concerning them. These plain teachings they must meet in the Judgment. Yet there is not one young man or woman in twenty who professes the present truth, who heeds these Bible teachings. They do not read the word of Yahuwah enough to know its claims upon them, and yet these truths will judge them in the great day of Yahuwah, when young and old will be judged according to the deeds done in the body.

Says John, “I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of Yahuwah abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of Yahuwah abideth forever.”  (1 John 2:14-17).

This exhortation to young men extends also to young women. Their youth does not excuse them from the responsibilities resting upon them. The youth are strong. They are not worn down with the weight of years, and with cares. Their affections are ardent, and if they are withdrawn from the world, and placed upon Yahushua and heaven, doing the will of Yahuwah, they will have a hope of the better life that is enduring, and they will abide forever, being crowned with glory, honor, immortality, eternal life. If the youth live to gratify the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, they are seeking for the things of the world, are pleasing their great adversary, and separating themselves from the Father. And when these things that are sought after pass away, their hopes are blighted and their expectations perish. Separated from Yahuwah, then they will bitterly repent their folly of serving their own pleasure, of gratifying their own desires, and for a few frivolous enjoyments, of selling a life of immortal bliss that they might have enjoyed forevermore. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world,” says the inspired apostle. Then the warning, “If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” It is an alarming fact that the love of the world predominates in the minds of the young. They decidedly love the world and the things that are in the world, and for this very reason the love of Yahuwah finds no room in their hearts. Their pleasures are found in the world, and in the things of the world, and they are strangers to the Father and the graces of his Spirit. Frivolity and fashion, and empty, vain talking and laughing, characterize the life of the youth generally, and Yahuwah is dishonored. Paul exhorts the youth to sobriety: “Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.”  (Titus 2:6-8).

I entreat the youth for their souls’ sake to heed the exhortation of the inspired apostle. All these gracious instructions, warnings, and reproofs, will be either a savor of life unto life or of death unto death. Many of the young are reckless in their conversation. They choose to forget that by their words they shall be justified, or by their words be condemned. Take heed to the words of our Saviour: “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things; and an evil man out the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of Judgment; for by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” (Matthew 12:35-36). How little regard is paid even to the instructions of the heavenly Teacher! The word of Yahuwah is either not studied at all, or if it is, its solemn truths are not heeded, and these plain truths will rise up in Judgment and condemn them.

Words and acts testify plainly what is in the heart. If vanity and pride, love of self and love of dress, fill the heart, the conversation will be upon the fashions, the dress, and the appearance, but not upon Yahushua or the kingdom of heaven. If envious feelings dwell in the heart, the same will be manifested in words and acts. Those who measure themselves by others, and do as others do, and make no higher attainments, and excuse themselves over the wrongs and faults of others, are feeding on husks, and will remain spiritual dwarfs as long as they gratify the Devil by thus indulging their own unconsecrated feelings. Some dwell upon what they shall eat and drink and wherewithal they shall be clothed. Their hearts are filled with these thoughts, and they flow out from the abundance of the heart, as though these things were their grand aim in life, their highest attainment. They forget the words of Yahushua,”Seek ye first the kingdom of Yahuwah and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”  (Matthew 6:33).

Satan is gratified to have the attention of youth attracted by anything to divert their minds from Yahuwah, so that the deceiver can steal a march upon them, and they, unprepared for his attacks, be ensnared. They are not aware that the heavenly Artist is taking cognizance of every act, every word, and their deportment; and that even the thoughts and intents of the heart stand faithfully delineated. Every defect in the moral character stands forth revealed to the gaze of angels, and they will have the faithful picture presented to them in all its deformity at the execution of the Judgment. Those vain, frivolous words are all written in the book. Those false words are written. Those deceptive acts, with the motives concealed from human eyes, but discerned by the all-seeing eye of Jehovah, are all written in living characters. Every selfish act is exposed. The young generally conduct themselves as though the precious hours of probation, while mercy lingers, were one grand holiday, and that they are placed in this world simply for their own amusement, to be gratified by a continued round of excitement.

Satan has been making special efforts to lead the youth to find happiness in worldly amusements, and to justify themselves in thus doing, by endeavoring to show that these amusements are harmless, innocent, and even important to health. The impression has been given by some physicians that spirituality and devotion to Yahuwah are detrimental to health. This suits the adversary of souls well. There are persons with diseased imaginations who do not rightly represent the religion of Yahushua; such have not the pure religion of the Bible. Some are scourging themselves all through their life because of their sins; all they can see is an offended Yahuwah of justice. Yahushua and his redeeming power, through the merits of his blood, they fail to see. Such have not faith. This class are generally those who have not well-balanced minds. Through disease transmitted to them from their parents, and an erroneous education in youth, they have imbibed wrong habits, injuring the constitution, affecting the brain causing the moral organs to be diseased, and making it impossible for them upon all points to think and act rationally. They have not well-balanced minds. Yahuwahliness and righteousness are not destructive to health, but are health to the body and strength to the soul. Says Peter: “He that will love life, and see good days, . . . let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it: for the eyes of the Master are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Master is against them that do evil.” (1 Peter 3:10) “But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye; and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.”  (1 Peter 3:14).

The consciousness of right doing is the best medicine for diseased bodies and minds. The special blessing of Yahuwah resting upon the receiver is health and strength. A person whose mind is quiet and satisfied in Yahuwah is in the pathway to health. To have a consciousness that the eyes of the Master are upon us, and his ears open to hear our prayers, is a satisfaction indeed. To know that we have a never-failing Friend in whom we can confide all the secrets of the soul, is a privilege which words can never express. Those whose moral faculties are beclouded by disease, are not the ones to rightly represent the life of Yahushua, or the beauties of holiness. They are often in the fire of fanaticism, or the water of cold indifference or stolid gloom.

The words of Yahushua are of more worth than the opinions of all the physicians in the universe. “Seek ye first the kingdom of Yahuwah and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” This is the first great object–the kingdom of Heaven, the righteousness of Yahushua.  Other objects to be attained should be secondary to these.

We have taken out from the original article all pagan names and titles of the Father and Son, and have replaced them with the original given names. Furthermore, we have restored in the Scriptures quoted the original names of the Father and Son, as they were originally written by the inspired writers of the Bible.

Suit of Armor from God_Word of God

Ephesians : 6 : 10-18 [NWT]

10 Finally, go on acquiring power in [the] Lord and

in the mightiness of his strength.

11 Put on the complete suit of armor from God that YOU

may be able to stand firm against the machinations of

the Devil;

12 because we have a wrestling, not against blood and

flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities,

against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked

spirit forces in the heavenly places.

13 On this account take up the complete suit of armor from

God, that YOU may be able to resist in the wicked day and,

after YOU have done all things thoroughly, to stand firm.

14 Stand firm, therefore, with YOUR loins girded about

with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and with YOUR feet shod with the equipment of the good

news of peace.

16 Above all things, take up the large shield of faith, with

which YOU will be able to quench all the wicked one’s

burning missiles.

17 Also, accept the helmet of salvation, and the sword of

the spirit, that is, God’s word,

18 while with every form of prayer and supplication YOU

carry on prayer on every occasion in spirit.

The Devil’s Convention

BUSY: Being Under Satan’s Yoke?

The Devil’s Convention ….

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

In his opening address he said, “We can’t keep Christians from going to church.”

“We can’t keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth.”

“We can’t even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their savior.”

“Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken.”

“So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners,

BUT steal their time, so they don’t have time to develop a relationship with

Almighty God Jehovah and Jesus Christ, His Son.”

“This is what I want you to do,” said the devil: “Distract them from gaining

hold of their Savior and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!

” “How shall we do this?” his demons shouted. “Keep them busy in the non-essentials

of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds,” he answered.

“Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow.”

“Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work

6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles.”

“Keep them from spending time with their children.”

“As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the

pressures of work!” “Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear

that still, small voice.”

“Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive.”

“To keep the TV, VCR, DVD, CDs and their PCs, going constantly in their

home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays

non-biblical music constantly.”

“This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ.”

“Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers.”

“Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day.”

“Invade their driving moments with billboards.”

“Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes,

and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products,

services and false hopes.”

“Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands

will believe that outward beauty is what’s important, and they’ll become

dissatisfied with their wives.”

“Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night.”

” Give them headaches too! “If they don’t give their husbands the love they

need, they will begin to look elsewhere; thus committing adultery!”

“That will fragment their families quickly!”

“Even in their recreation, let them be excessive.”

“Have them return from their recreation exhausted.”

“Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God’s creation.

Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead.

“Keep them busy, busy, busy!”

“And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk

so that they leave with troubled consciences.”

“Crowd their lives with so many good earthly causes they have no time to seek

power from Jehovah God and His Son, Jesus Christ.”

“Let them be involved in soul-winning, but crowd their lives with so many causes

that they have no time to seek power from God and Christ. Soon they will be

working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good

of the cause.”

“It will work!” “It will work!”

It was quite a devilish clever plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere

to get busier and more rushed, going here and there and everywhere.

Having little time for their God or their families.

Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?

You be the judge!!!!!

Does “BUSY” mean: Being Under Satan’s Yoke?

Satan’s goal is to take our minds away from Jehovah God and Jesus Christ

and steer us towards the cares of the world. God wants us to enjoy life,

but He must be our first priority in our lives. If we are too busy for the

One True God Jehovah and His Son, Jesus Christ, then we are too

busy being earthly busy. The Day of Wrath of Jehovah and Jesus Christ

Second Coming is upon the whole world; Wake Up and Pray Up and

not be lead away by Satan’s schemes and temptations or else we’ll have

to face the consequences with regrets and be written out of the

Book of LIFE and God’s Kingdom.

The Sultan and Satan

*The Sultan and Satan*

An ancient legend from the East tells of a great sultan who was a devout man of God. One morning he overslept. When the Devil saw that the hour of morning prayer was passing, he woke the sultan and urged him to get out of bed and pray.

Sultan from the East
Sultan from the East

“Who are you?” asked the startled sultan, still rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

“Oh, it’s not important,” replied the shady figure. “The important thing is that I woke you up in time, otherwise you would have missed your prayers for the first time in ten years-and it is very good to pray, isn’t it?”

“Yes, that is true!” replied the sultan smugly. “I wouldn’t dream of missing my prayer time. Not even once! … But wait a minute! I think I recognize you. Yes, I know your face. Of course! You are Satan, and no doubt you have some evil motive for your appearance!”

Satan aka The Devil and Deceiver
Satan aka The Devil and Deceiver

“I’m not really as bad as you think!” exclaimed the intruder. “After all, I was God’s right-hand angel once.”

“That is all very well,” replied the wise old sultan, “but you are also the Deceiver; that is your business! So I demand in the name of God to know why you want me to get up and pray!”

“Well,” replied the Devil, having grown huffy and impatient with the sultan’s persistence, “if you must know, I’ll tell you. If you had slept and forgotten your prayers, you would have felt very sorry for it afterward and would have been quite penitent. That would have humbled you and brought you close to God. But if you continue on as you have for the last ten years, without missing a single prayer, then you will become so satisfied with yourself that it will be worse for you than if you had missed one prayer and had asked God for forgiveness. God loves your fault mixed with repentance much more than your virtue seasoned with pride!”

Often it is actually good for us to make some mistakes because if we didn’t, we’d most likely become so proud of ourselves and so self-confident that we’d no longer feel we needed any help from God or others. But in reality, when we feel so proud and self-satisfied, it’s because we’re not closer to God, but more full of ourselves.

Many people in the world today are taught that pride is a virtue. But God recognizes pride and self-righteousness for what they really are-sins of the heart! The Bible says that “pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall,” and that “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (Proverbs 16:18; James 4:6).

Quite frequently God uses our mistakes to help keep our pride in check, to keep us humble and more dependent on His goodness and strength, rather than our own. The Lord blesses humility. He gives more grace to the humble, and promises to dwell “with him who has a contrite and humble spirit” (1 Peter 5:5; Isaiah 57:15).

It has been said that out of what seems like defeat come some of God’s greatest victories. “But what kind of victory is that?” you may ask. Well, God very often uses humbling experiences to make us better people-more compassionate and understanding of the errors of others, more loving and patient, when otherwise we might not have been so. The Lord wants to use our mistakes to teach us many important lessons that perhaps we wouldn’t be able to learn any other way. So isn’t it encouraging to realize that even our failures can be for our good?

Of course, in order for the Lord to bring this good to pass, we must be honest with ourselves, be willing to confess our mistakes, and attempt to rectify them. The hardest words to say in any language are, “I was wrong!” This takes humility of the kind that only God can give, because it’s human nature to want to appear perfect and faultless, and consequently be unable to confess our mistakes.

But if we want the truth and desire God’s blessing, then we’ll honestly and humbly admit our faults and failings. Then we can take comfort in knowing that we are wiser today than we were yesterday. Contrary to what some folks seem to think, an admission of error is a sign of strength rather than weakness.

Besides, God knows you’re anything but perfect. In fact, He knows you can’t be perfect and never will be. So the crux of the matter is not whether you are perfect or not, but whether you depend on the Lord and His grace, love and mercy. Do you give Him all the glory and credit for anything good that you do? Whenever you accomplish something good, you should say, “Just thank Jesus. Don’t thank me! If I have done anything good, it’s only because the Lord helped me do so.”

A good rule to follow is this: Give God all the glory for anything good you do, and yourself the blame for anything bad. That will help keep you from falling into that horrible trap of self-righteous pride, which is the basis of virtually all sin.

So whenever you make a mistake and are then tempted to get down and discouraged, just remember the sultan’s lesson: God loves your fault mixed with repentance more than your virtue seasoned with pride!

THE TWO HOUSES

Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them,

I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not,

shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand.

Moral of the Story/Parable by Jesus Christ :

House built on a solid rock foundation will withstand and survive from

the snares of the world ; whereas …

House built on slippery sand will not be able to counter the storms of

the world and will ultimately fall.

We must build ourselves upon the rock of Jesus Christ, the way to eternal

life and not on the tempting and snaring death, sandy path of the Devil.

Adrift on the Sands of Time

dollar-sign-flow-glass.jpg

Souls, perplexed and befuddled, drowning in our own making of hatred and wars, whether it’s ethnic divide or pure insane mad envy of each other or the innate power to dominate and possess, drives some of us to the brink of annihilating God’s creation, mankind. We are just lost and bewildered souls floundering and drifting upon the sands of time, searching and seeking for that fleeting illusion of power, fame and fortune, which we, sadly think is happiness. It is just only temporal glory because after each accomplishment and success, we hunger again for more praise and accolades of men and not forgetting that greedy need for more material things. What do we gain by all these? Why we do go through all the pains for it? Mere rhetoric questions by which we need to honestly ask of ourselves whether all these things will save us in the end. The end of what, some of you might ask, well, it’s the end of the system of evil, wicked and violent age, the end of Satan’s dominion on this earth till Jesus Christ comes to establish His kingdom here on earth with purity and love.

Ever since the dawn of man, Adam and Eve, the Devil has tempted, deceived and influenced mankind to every sort of evil conceivably concocted by him and managed that magnificently, just look at the condition of humanity now, a cacophony of corrupted lost souls everywhere. Satan has been doing his job superbly by diverting our attention from God with the busyness of living for the superficiality of power, fame and fortune. While some have attained it by sheer hard work and honesty on their part, others by envy and who are sluggards by nature will even resort to killing one another for it.

For every sin that we commit, we are held accountable for judgment by God and Jesus Christ upon the conclusion of this present ungodly violent pervasive world. Some might laugh or dismiss this belief but take note that the Devil is on the prowl all the time with his band of demonic angels seeking to devour our souls by influencing us to be evil and demonic as he is. A corruptible and sinful man will eventually lose his soul to the Devil if he does not desire to repent or feel the need to change his ways.

Time, we measure and live it day by day, but do we all really bother and care how we use our time? Just like so many things that we take for granted from God, the gift of life from the air we breathe, warmth of heat from the sun, water for hydrating our existence and resources we need from the earth, I think time is the most discounted and overlooked basics of mankind’s survival. Time, eternal time, is the most precious priceless untouchable commodity that we humans are lacking now and the clock is ticking much faster than before because the end times for this generation is already upon us and at it’s doors knocking loudly.

TIME IS A GIFT … from GOD to men.

So, mortal souls, count your blessings and value your precious time as time not used worthily to better our spiritual selves, it’s lost forever to the Devil.

IF …

Jesus our Shepherd and Savior
Jesus our Shepherd and Savior

If Satan had not desired to be on equal status and wanted to be God; Jesus would not have to be the atonement for mankind’s sin.

If Eve had not been tempted and Adam being influenced; mankind would not have to toil and toil and spin and spin.

If one third of the angels have not followed the Devil and mated with humans; magic and sorcery would not have emerged.

If humans have listened to the words of God; He would not have wanted humans purged.

If God wasn’t a merciful and full of loving-kindness God; He would not have kept Noah and his family safe from the Big Flood.

If the scribes and Pharisees weren’t eager for man’s glory and Judas’s blatant greed, Jesus our Lord would not have to spill His precious blood.

If not for the power and miracle work of God; Israel would not have birthed in 1948, as prophesied, as a nation again.

If time of the end is upon us soon and humans do not feel the need to repent of their sins, Jesus’ sacrifice in death would have been pointless and in vain.

If God and Jesus have not fought and battled hard with the Devil for our souls, we humans would have ceased in our own raging wars and sins.

If this present wicked violent world ends, it would be Jesus and His armies from the heavens having conquered the Devil and on that note, God wins.
